In this video, we will be looking at a part of our face that allows us to do the most amount of communication and that is … the mouth! Our mouths are a prominent part of our face. Mainly, we use it to speak but it can also help us to express our emotions in many ways. It is the most obvious way for us to know whether someone is happy, sad and more!
Let’s look at how we can use phrases related to the mouth to help us describe different ways of expressing emotions. I will also be introducing some phrases to describe smiling/laughing as it is often linked to the mouth as well! Accompanying this post would also be some idioms and good phrases related to the mouth that you can use in your writing too.
To get started, let’s take a look at phrases you can use to express emotions using the mouth:

Next, here are some idioms/good phrases that are related to the mouth. Memorise a few and have a few on hand to help with your descriptive writing! Some phrases here may also feature the tongue/teeth too!
