In this holiday programme, we will:
Teach a reliable framework that students can apply confidently to any Situational Writing question and experience how straightforward skills can make a big impact on one’s Situational Writing score!
Introduce stimulating activities designed to help students master the crucial distinctions between formal writing, informal writing, and article writing, enabling them to develop an intuitive understanding of how to adjust their tone and structure their responses to suit different situations.
Equip students with article writing skills that are increasingly tested in examinations. Students will learn how to craft the different features of article writing. Through guided practice, they’ll master the unique format and language features that distinguish article writing from other writing forms.

This is a two-day workshop designed for Primary 5 and Primary 6 students to help them master the art of Situational Writing. The programme aims to simplify this component, making it more achievable for students to score well by teaching them a reliable framework and key skills.
Students will learn a systematic approach to Situational Writing, including:
A reliable framework that can be applied to any question.
How to differentiate between formal, informal and article writing contexts
- How to craft engaging article titles and use appropriate language features for each format
- How to adjust tone and structure responses for different situations.
Guided and independent practices to improve communication skills.
The workshop runs for two days, with each day lasting 3 hours and 15 minutes, which includes a 15-minute break. The workshop is conducted in a center-based, in-person format.
The workshop has a small class size of 6 students to ensure a focused and personalised learning experience.
