Open the Cloze Door

Curiosity killed the ______.

COMPREHENSION CLOZE IS SO HARD.

Unfortunately, we cannot disagree with this statement. Out of all the paper 2 components, the comprehension cloze is notorious for being one which many students lose marks in. Does that mean all is lost?

BUT NOT IMPOSSIBLE TO SCORE.

Hard does not mean impossible. If carrying out a task the usual way does not work, we need to try another method which does. And we have found it.

LilbutMightyEnglishOnlineCourse ClozePassage 1
“READ MORE TO IMPROVE IN CLOZE”? LET’S BE MORE SPECIFIC.

Reading is always beneficial but with limited time for students to prepare and perfect their score before the next examination, reading more cannot be your only solution. You need to dive straight into the requirements. The explicit skills. The common question types.

You need to Open the Cloze Door.

The course was very useful for my comprehension cloze. It listed out the types of question types very clearly and provided sufficient examples for me to understand how to answer each question type. The annotated answers for the worksheets are excellent and help me to understand how to get the correct answer by identifying the clues. Sometimes, when I attempt other comprehension practices in assessment books or practice school papers and get a question wrong, I am not sure how to get the correct answer and why my answer is wrong. This is different from the answer keys in this course. The only improvement that can be made is to give more elaborate notes by including more of the information in the videos. I feel that this will make it easier for students to revise on the different question types before their exams. They might have already forgotten most of the content in the video. All in all, the course is the best comprehension cloze passage online course! I would definitely recommend this to my other friends!”

COURSE CURRICULUM

“Overall, the presentation of the online course is well organised. The content is clear and straight to the point with nice and cute animations that attract the children. Though the speaker seems to be a little too fast, the videos are well-recorded with no distractions and you can simply pause and play as needed. The worksheets are slightly easier compared to the worksheets done during tuition. The content of the passages are interesting and thus encourages the child to do more. They consist of current affairs, technology, etc and allows the child to gain knowledge of the different areas. The answer sheets provide clear explanations and are thus helpful to both the child and the parent.”
