The trial class is an opportunity to experience Lil’ but Mighty’s unique “Learn, Share, Replay” methodology first-hand. It’s designed to give your child a taste of our structured approach to O-Level English, so both you and your child can see the difference before committing to regular classes.
Our O-Level English programme (Wordstruck) is for students from Secondary 1 to Secondary 4, covering all levels:
- S1 – Attain
- S2 – Elevate
- S3 – Refine
- S4 – Flex
Lil’ but Mighty’s LSR Methodology is a unique teaching approach that empowers students to master concepts through three stages: first they Learn the technique; then they Share it by teaching a peer; and finally they Replay it through practice until it becomes second nature. This active learning model leads to genuine, lasting mastery — not just short-term memorisation.
Our curriculum covers all four O-Level English papers:
- Paper 1 – Writing (Editing, Situational Writing, Continuous Writing)
- Paper 2 – Reading Comprehension
- Paper 3 – Listening Comprehension
- Paper 4 – Oral Communication
The trial class is 2 hours long. This allows for a systematic, bite-sized approach to teaching — enough time for your child to genuinely experience our methodology and leave with strategies they can apply immediately.
In the 2-hour O-Level English trial class, your child will:
- Be taught specific, targeted strategies for O-Level question types
- Experience the Learn, Share, Replay peer-teaching methodology in action
- Work through beautifully designed, curriculum-aligned worksheets
- Learn in a small group of no more than 6 students
- Receive personalised teacher feedback at the end of the session
Lil’ but Mighty maintains a maximum class size of 6 students. This 1:6 teacher-to-student ratio ensures every child receives the individual attention and support they need to thrive.
Yes! Both physical (on-site) and online trial classes are available. Our online classes use the same curriculum, materials, and methodology as our centre-based lessons — just from wherever your child is most comfortable.

In terms of content and methodology, very little — your child gets the same quality of teaching, the same materials, and the same small class environment. The only difference is location. Our online platform is interactive and fully live, not pre-recorded.
