This is a 2-day, center-based workshop specifically designed to help P3 and P4 students build a strong foundation for Paper 2 of the English examination. The workshop aims to provide students with the right tools and strategies to excel in comprehension, synthesis, and grammar.

The workshop will focus on essential strategies and challenging question types across three major components:

  • Comprehension: Question analysis, literal questions, True/False questions, referencing questions, and inferential questions.

  • Grammar: Present and past tense, continuous tense, past perfect tense, subject-verb-agreement (including indefinite pronouns and other rules), and question tags.

  • Synthesis: Subject-verb-agreement and direct to indirect speech.

The workshop is a 2-day program, with each day lasting 3 hours and 15 minutes, inclusive of a 15-minute break. It is a center-based workshop, meaning it will be held in person.

The workshop has a small class size of 6 students to ensure a focused and personalised learning experience.

In addition to guided practices and detailed lessons, participants will receive handy notes to consolidate their learning. They will also get a take-home final comprehension practice with access to a video link for self-marking.
