🎉 2025 PSLE Results: Release Date, S1 Posting Timeline and How to Choose the Right Secondary School

The 2025 PSLE results will be released on 25 November 2025 at 11.00am. Secondary 1 school choices can be submitted online from 25 November 11.30am to 1 December 2025 at 4.30pm. The S1 Posting Results will be released on 18 or 19 December 2025.

Below is a clear and parent-friendly guide to help you navigate PSLE Results Day, the S1 Posting Exercise and the process of choosing a secondary school that fits your child’s needs.

📘 How to Collect PSLE Results 2025

Students will collect their PSLE results in person from their primary schools. Each school will give parents and students specific instructions on the collection process.

If your child cannot return to school, you may appoint a proxy to collect the results on their behalf. This must be arranged by 27 November 2025.

🧭 How to Choose a Secondary School in 2025

Choosing a secondary school is a major milestone. To support your child in finding the best fit, consider the following factors.

🌱 School Culture and Environment

Think about what your child needs to feel confident and supported. Some learners thrive in structured settings. Others do better in creative or collaborative environments.

⭐ Distinctive Programmes and Opportunities

Schools offer specialised programmes in areas such as STEM, applied learning, sports and the arts. These programmes play a big role in a child’s motivation and interest.

📚 Subjects and CCA Offerings

With Full Subject-Based Banding (Full SBB) fully implemented, students can customise their learning pathways. Explore subject options and CCAs to ensure the school aligns with your child’s strengths.

📊 How to Use COPs the Right Way

MOE recommends including two to three schools with Cut-Off Points (COPs) that are less stringent than your child’s PSLE score.
Remember: COPs can shift every year due to cohort performance and choice patterns. Use them as a reference, not a fixed indicator.

🔍 Where to Research Schools

Use these parent-friendly resources to explore school information:

  • SchoolFinder: go.gov.sg/secschoolfinder

  • Secondary School Open Houses: schoolbag.edu.sg/story/open-house-for-secondary-schools

  • PSLE Full SBB Microsite: moe.gov.sg/microsites/psle-fsbb

  • Individual school websites

🔧 Crest Secondary School and Spectra Secondary School

Crest Secondary School (CSS) and Spectra Secondary School (SSS) offer a hands-on, practice-oriented learning environment for students eligible for Posting Group 1, or the Posting Group 1 and 2 Option Band.

Students interested in CSS or SSS must apply directly to the school.
Even if applying, students should still submit the S1 Option Form in case they are not admitted.

Both schools conduct open houses where parents can explore programmes, subjects, culture and facilities.
