Lil’ but Mighty Featured on PEAK Magazine

A Story of Purposeful Growth and Franchising with Heart

We are honoured to share that our founder, Mrs Lily Chew, has been featured in PEAK Magazine, where she speaks about her journey building Lil’ but Mighty and how franchising became a natural extension of our mission.

What began as a deep conviction that children deserve structured, thoughtful, and high-quality English instruction has grown into something larger than we ever imagined. Yet at its core, Lil’ but Mighty has always been about one thing. Impact over scale. Purpose over speed.

In the feature, Lily shares openly about the realities of growing an education brand without losing its soul. Franchising, for us, was never about rapid expansion. It was about finding like-minded partners who believe in strong pedagogy, teacher development, and doing right by children and families.

Growing Without Losing What Matters

As an education brand, growth brings complexity. Systems need to be robust. Training needs to be intentional. Culture needs to be protected.

In her conversation with PEAK, Lily reflects on the careful balance between building replicable systems and preserving the heart of teaching. At Lil’ but Mighty, we believe that great teaching can be systemised, but never standardised to the point where humanity is lost.

This belief shapes how we design our curriculum, train our teachers, and work with our franchise partners. Every decision is anchored in the same question we started with. Does this serve the child well?

Franchising as a Partnership, Not a Transaction

One of the key ideas shared in the feature is our view of franchising as a partnership built on shared values.

Our franchisees are not simply business operators. They are educators, leaders, and partners who care deeply about learning outcomes and ethical growth. This alignment allows Lil’ but Mighty to grow steadily, while staying grounded in the principles that defined us from the start.
