We like that the centre is very structured. The worksheets are well prepared and the step-by-step approach really helps guide the children in their learning. A special shout out to Teacher Jenny and Teacher Shabana, who teach my twins in separate Primary 2 classes. Both are patient, caring, and make learning enjoyable.

Ms Shabana's Teacher Spotlight

What is it like working at LBM?
LBM is home to me. I really love how everyone is so collaborative and helpful. Thanks to the Dynamic team, I feel very welcomed into this family. I enjoy the environment, and I look forward to coming to work every day.

What inspires you to teach?
I love interacting with people. Being an ESFP as my MBTI, I am able to be collaborative with the people around me. Teaching to me means being inspirational, and I enjoy being a model for my students to follow as I firmly do not believe in an indoctrinating approach but rather a model-based approach where students learn through examples and know what is expected of them.

Why do you love teaching English?
I love languages. English is a language where there is just so much to explore, learn and improve. I describe it as a subject with endless boundaries. As a passionate individual, I am continuously learning and growing as a person as I teach English.

What do you do in your free time?
I enjoy music, both listening to songs and singing. I do enjoy voluntary work as well. I always believe in the law of attraction. It is important for us to give back to the society that has helped us and is helping us. I love working with ACRES and doing whatever I can for the people around me. Living with purpose is a must, and I firmly believe in this.
