Teacher Sabrina is patient that waits for my girl to finish her writing before proceeding. She also updated me promptly on the my girl’s progress and discuss on what to work on. Lil But Mighty’s programme covers syllabus that helps students on PSLE.

What inspires you to teach?

The saying “To teach is to touch a life forever” has always meant a lot to me. I try my best to meet every child where they are, understand what they need, and enable them to reach their potential. It is truly fulfilling to see a student grow in confidence and enjoy English more and more.

Why do you love teaching English?

As Dr. Seuss once wrote, “The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.” I love teaching English as it opens doors to imagination and creativity while empowering children to discover and create new worlds through stories. Teaching children the language gives them a voice and allows them to express themselves and communicate effectively – a crucial life skill.

What do you do in your free time?

Outside of teaching, I enjoy craftwork like flower arranging, making clay accessories and designing coasters. These hobbies bring me much joy and creativity! I often weave that same sense of warmth and fun into my lessons.
