We’ve had a wonderful experience with Lil’ But Mighty @ YCK! The teachers (Junisa and Nithiya) are incredibly dedicated, patient, and truly passionate about helping the children improve their English. The lessons are engaging and well-structured, and we’ve seen a noticeable improvement in my child’s confidence and writing skills. The environment is warm and encouraging, and the team genuinely cares about each student’s progress. Highly recommended for parents looking for a quality English enrichment centre!

Located at newly built YCK CC, Lil’ but Mighty YCK is designed with good lighting, comfortable seating and adequate space for the students. The materials used are highly relevant and closely aligned with the MOE syllabus. We have been with Teacher Junisa since the beginning and our child feels very at ease with her. Teacher Junisa is a passionate and dedicated educator who fosters each child’s academic growth while thoughtfully guiding their personal development. Thumbs up for LBM YCK and Teacher Junisa!

Writing is my favourite way to express how I feel. There’s something magical about how emotions and thoughts are captured so delicately in writing. Which is why I have a notebook with me everywhere I go!

Beyond writing, watercoloring is another joy of mine — it’s where I let my creativity flow freely without needing words at all! Whether I’m reading, painting, or writing, I’m always chasing those moments where creativity blooms.

I look forward to meeting you in our Lil’ but Mighty classroom!

What is it like working at LBM?
To me, it doesn’t feel like working at all! I love teaching with all my heart. Hence, the classroom is my true happy place. I enjoy interacting with students and guiding them to learn new skills. I also love that the LBM resources have adorable illustrations and colours, making learning a fun experience for all.

What inspires you to teach?
My biggest inspiration is my secondary school literature teacher. She was the one who took notice of my interest in English Literature. Back then, I was a shy student but she helped me discover my voice as I carried out class presentations on Shakespeare and other literature texts in class. From there, my love for English Literature grew and I became an avid reader ever since.

Why do you love teaching English?
At LBM, I am not just imparting knowledge to my students. The lessons are also an eye-opening experience for the students as they get to discover a new lesson theme every week. I enjoy spending a few minutes with my students to have thematic discussions. These engaging discussions bring all the lessons to life.

What do you do in your free time?
I can spend an unapologetic number of hours on Pinterest! Pinterest is a treasure trove for DIY ideas, recipes, and home decor inspirations. I am constantly on the lookout for a DIY learning activity that I can create for my daughter. Often, I include her in the craft-making as she enjoys helping me!
