One of the easiest ways for your composition to stand out from the rest is to start by thinking about different places for an interesting composition to take place! In today’s video, we discuss about how a problem (e.g. an accident) in a story can be different based on the setting, in particular the place, that the writer has chosen for the story.
Some of the settings that we brainstormed in the video include:
– shopping mall
– food centre
– theme park
– train station
– roadside
– school:

The list is not exhaustive and you definitely can add on to it! Try selecting five favourite places and for the next composition, see if you can use a more interesting place to set up your problem! (:
