Lil’ but Mighty Open House (2019)

In a flash, the inaugural Lil’ but Mighty Open House is over! Conceived out of our desire to provide an authentic task for our students to see the relevance of English, the Lil’ but Mighty Open House has also allowed the LBM team to give parents and children a taste of how our curriculum and pedagogy are like.
Apart from the talks on Comprehension by Ms Nora and Mrs Chew, there was also a sharing done by Ms Xie on helping children to fall in love with reading and writing. In addition, the children had some fun during the children activity which taught them the 2nd conditional through an art activity. Did we mention too, that all participants of our LBM Edventure Activity are winners who walked away with either free online courses or discount codes?
The biggest takeaway from the event was perhaps the opportunity for our staff to converse with the parents who dropped by. We are thankful for your encouragement and it spurs us to continue doing what we love and sharing it with the community. All in all. we want to thank every parent and child who had attended the event and we look forward to meeting more of you at our next gathering!
